  1. Wow! The pictures tell the story brilliantly. The DIY car-awning looks superb. The last images look like they must be highly satisfying?

    1. Thanks Mark,the awning was hard to rig single handed but gave me somewhere to stand up to get dressed sit under cook/eat. Thunder storms on 2 days ! passenger seat left at home sheet of ply. and a futon mattress in car = comfy bed. Next time I'll take 2 more poles then I can use the car to explore leaving the awning/tent in situe, the last 2 photos = Gold Fever !
