Another Sunny Wednesday

Don't know what it is about Wednesdays but since the last one the rain has just about been non stop. This morning though blue sky and sunshine, so set off for Grass Woods at Grassington again to play with a new toy a Firebox stove

 1/2 a cup of boiling water and into the cosy while having a brew with the rest of the water

For once it wasn't Raining

Wed. 3rd February 2016 after what seemed like weeks of wet and windy weather woke up to Blue Sky and descided on a Tour to Grass Woods at Grassington

My mix for Russian Caravan Tea
Lapsang Souchong, Keemun, and Oolong

then it was time for some Scoff.
Sild in T/sauce and a salad

Black Pudding and an Egg

Lovely Grub

then another Brew and a pipe of Balkan mix

before heading back

and No Rain !

Waiting for a Fat One

Waffles-R-Us

After years of making Waffles with Plain Flour, and over 25 years of baking the house bread with Strong Flour it never occured to try Waffles with itSuberb !

4 oz bread flour
1 oz milk powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 egg
2 tablespoons Sunflower Oil
6 fl oz (just shy 1/2 pint) water
whisk and mix until smooth. (This is a thin batter that can be poured into a Waffle Iron)

I used milk powder so the dry ingredients can be taken out into the hills pre-mixed then just add water,oil and an egg like Pancakes
